#Singapore #photography: #durian

Wow. Really, really tasty stuff. The spiky exterior has a horrible smelly-foot funk to it, but the interior is great. Granted, it looks like a tumor that's been excised, but it tastes far better than I imagine a tumor would. It's sweet and creamy, like a rich custard. You just pick it up and suck the fruity bits off of these big smooth seeds. There are some stringy bits, kind of like what you sometimes find in mango, but they don't detract from the experience, because it's creamy goodness all around.
